This track is designed to provide an interactive educational experience to students with leadership abilities to encourage them to reach their potential as leaders on campus and in the community. A limited number of students will be selected to participate in this program based on a nomination and application process. This will be a co-curricular leadership development series.
This is an initiative to be led by the Office of Student Development however will coordinate the efforts of the various departments both within and outside of the Division of Student Life by using resources of people and programs in existence and gathering a targeted audience and discussing issues of personal and organizational leadership with them. The program consists of a weekend retreat and weekly to bi-weekly seminars focusing on character and leadership development.

Taking part in the Emerging Leaders Program is a great way to meet new people, get connected to activities on campus and to grow personally while enhancing your leadership potential. It is an excellent opportunity for you to develop important leadership skills, learn from fellow students, and enhance your collegiate experience.
Students who successfully complete the program will earn a COMPASS Certificate in recognition of your leadership accomplishments and will be recognized at a spring awards ceremony.
