Director of Student Success

Brother J. Kevin Devlin CFC; Ed., a member of the Congregation of Christian Brothers, has served as the Director of Student Success since 1996. Previously Brother taught high school for 18 years, served as Headmaster of Iona Grammar School for 7 years and joined the Iona College Community in 1986 working in Admissions for 10 years and now Success. The Success Office works with all students who face a variety of concerns and obstacles and works to assist students to graduate in 8 semesters.

Brother earned his BA from Iona College in 1961, his MA from Seton Hall in 1968 and his EdD from Fordham University in 1998. Brother works with the Men's Basketball Team and the Iona College Bagpipe Band.

 

Associate Director

Felicia Colangelo came to Iona in 2001. She is the Associate Director of Student Success where she counsels at risk students helping them get back on track. She also advises the Edmund Rice Society, a group of upperclassmen, who assist the incoming freshmen at summer orientation and throughout their first year of college. Felicia earned her B.S. in Psychology and her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Iona.
