Student Retention
Our office exists to support and assist students in negotiating the College environment. We are available as "troubleshooters" whenever students hit a roadblock or barrier with which they would like some assistance. We are, "Retaining one student at a time!"
As "troubleshooters" whenever students hit a roadblock or barrier, we offer information, guidance and assistance. Some roadblocks may include:
- managing time effectively;
- needing a program change;
- wanting information about Financial Aid;
- having academic difficulty and not being sure where to get help;
- referring students for academic and other support; and
- wanting to use a student service at the College but not sure which one.
As good listeners and effective problem solvers, we seek to help students succeed and thrive at Iona.
