Brother J. Kevin Devlin CFC; Ed., a member of the Congregation of Christian Brothers, has served as the Director of Student Retention since 1996. Previously Brother taught high school for 18 years, served as Headmaster of Iona Grammar School for 7 years and joined the Iona College Community in 1986 working in Admissions for 10 years and now Retention. The Retention Office works with all students who face a variety of concerns and obstacles and works to assist students to graduate in 8 semesters.
Brother earned his BA from Iona College in 1961, his MA from Seton Hall in 1968 and his EdD from Fordham University in 1998. Brother works with the Men’s Basketball Team, Council of Multicultural Leaders, DU fraternity and DTB sorority on campus.
