Summer Sessions at Iona provide students with a wide range of opportunities. From day, evening and weekend courses to distance learning, independent study and study abroad, Iona’s campus in New Rochelle has plenty to offer. Whether you are a current Iona undergraduate student, a returning adult in the Professional Studies Program, or a visiting student trying to earn credits to graduate early, make up some classes or explore an area that has always intrigued you, Iona can help you achieve your goals.
Most classes meet for 5 weeks during two summer sessions at our main campus in New Rochelle. Classes are offered in three formats: Traditional, Hybrid (HY), and Distance Learning (DL). For traditional classes, all meetings are on site. Hybrid classes combine both on site and distance learning. Distance Learning classes are conducted exclusively on line. Meeting structures are clearly identified in the course listings.
