Dr. Haber teaches undergraduate and graduate classes in research, special topics and intermediate accounting. He publishes in the areas of investments, anti-money laundering and terrorist financing, earnings quality, ethics, bankruptcy prediction and other areas of financial and managerial accounting. Haber is a CPA licensed in New York and is a frequent speaker at academic, professional, investment and accounting conferences.

In addition to teaching at Iona Dr. Haber is also the founder and president of the Uncorrelated Fund, an innovative fund platform that allows investors to choose among an uncorrelated return, a highly positively correlated return or a highly negatively correlated return, against any investment return the investor chooses, calculated over any time period the investor chooses.

Haber is also Senior Director, Finance, of the Commonwealth Fund, a private foundation.

He is the author of What If Everything We Knew About Investing Was Wrong? and Accounting Demystified, a primer on financial accounting, which is available in English and Chinese.
