NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Iona College announced it has reached the $100 million mark in its historic Iona Forever campaign Wednesday evening. Launched in 2015, Iona Forever is a $150 million endeavor, which will shape the College for the 21st century and beyond.
“We have reached this important mark in our campaign due to the collective effort of many of our alumni and friends who have made commitments at all levels to support our students,” stated David J. McCabe '80, campaign co-chair and Board of Trustee member. “And we are excited to strive toward our goal of $150 million as we continue to call upon our proud alumni to support this campaign and transform lives.”

allows Iona to attract the most talented professors and researchers who encourage their students to challenge themselves;
offers expanded program opportunities, such as the Hynes Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, which provides all students with entrepreneurial experiences and skills, which will help them become leaders in a global economy;

protects the Iona legacy of graduating students recognized for their ethics, leadership, love of learning and willingness to serve.
“Since I have been on campus, I have seen a multitude of changes that have improved our College life,” said Justin Pellegrino ’19. “These changes and the access to many new opportunities are only possible through the generous gifts that have been made to the College.”

On Wednesday, May 9, members of the Iona community celebrated the milestone at the Arrigoni Center on campus.
“We are grateful to all of those who have made a commitment to Iona,” said President Joseph E. Nyre, Ph.D. “And we welcome those who believe in the power of an Iona education to join us. This is wonderful accomplishment, especially for the impact it has and will continue to have on our students and campus.”
