New Rochelle, NY (July 9, 2013) Iona College will participate in the third annual intercollegiate softball game to benefit the Eastchester Community Action Program (ECAP) Food Pantry on Thursday, July 11 at 5:30 pm. Hosted by Concordia College in Bronxville, NY, the game will be held on the Clippers Softball Field on Concordia's campus at 171 White Plains Road. The faculty and staff at Concordia will take on the faculty and staff of Iona College for a game of fun, charity and sportsmanship.
Employees of Iona and Concordia are eligible to play. A $20 per player donation is required for registration. All donations will be given to the ECAP Food Pantry to support families in need. For those who would like to cheer on their friends and colleagues, a $5.00 cash contribution or canned food is welcome. This event is open to the community.
