8/6/2013
New Rochelle, N.Y. (August 6, 2013) Iona College has announced the establishment of the Sr. Patricia McGinley Endowed Scholarship for Students, honoring her faithful service to the Iona College community. Sr. Pat has accepted a new assignment as Pastoral Associate at Christ the King Parish in Haddonfield, N.J., effective September 23, 2013.

Sr. Pat supported Iona College through her professional roles as Special Assistant to the President, Senior Policy Advisor, and Board Secretary – and numerous committees, clubs, events, and athletic teams.

“Sr. Pat will leave an indelible impression on Iona College,” said Iona College President Joseph E. Nyre. “She has worked tirelessly, served as a consummate and trusted advisor, and experienced confidant to me and many others. This is a fitting way to honor her service and love of students in perpetuity.”
