Iona Prof To Present On Electoral College Discussion January 12

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY - Jeanne Zaino, Ph.D., professor of political science in Iona College's School of Arts & Science, will be on a panel discussion on the "National Popular Vote & the Electoral College" on Thursday, January 12, at the Croton Free Library. The event runs from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
 
Presented by New York State Assemblywoman Sandy Galef, panelists also include NYS Assemblyman Jeff Dinowitz and The New Yorker's Hendrik Hertzberg.
 
Galef's 95th Assembly district includes parts of Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties. Dinowitz represents District 81 in the Assembly, which comprises much of the Northwest Bronx. Hertzberg is a political analyst for The New Yorker magazine and board member of Fairvote.org.
