Iona's six honorees were matched by Texas A&M University for most among D1A programs. There were 33 total D1A student-athletes among the 230 honored.
Scarcella, a two-time Academic Honor Roll honoree, was named collegiate All-American honorable mention earlier this summer. He was one of three D1A student-athletes to be honored for a second year and one of four DIA All-Americans on the list.
