Women's History Month at Iona College
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Iona College celebrates Women's History Month with events and activities during the March.
 
Programming throughout the month is sponsored by several groups and department on campus including: Black Student Union, Council on the Arts, Counseling Center, Delta Beta Sorority, Iona’s Department of Fine and Performing Arts, Political Science, Religious Studies and Speech Communication Studies, Hispanic Organization for Latino Awareness, Kaleidoscope Magazine, New York State Heath Grant Caregiver Support Initiative, Office of Mission and Ministry, Student Leader Alliance for Multiculturalism, Student Life Diversity Committee and Women of Wisdom Group.
 
The celebration began February 24 with “A Concert Celebrating Women’s History Month” in Murphy Auditorium.  It concludes March 30 with "The Body Project", a program that takes place each Thursday at noon at Montgomery House.
