Thanhouser Studio Archive Explore the legacy of a silent film powerhouse.

Iona College is proud to present this digital archive of photographs, film stills, promotional materials, and other ephemera from the Thanhouser Company, a silent film studio that operated in New Rochelle, NY between 1909 and 1917. The archive is the result of a collaboration between Iona College, Thanhouser Company Film Preservation, Inc., and TCFP president, Ned Thanhouser, who has worked tirelessly to promote the legacy of the studio co-founded by his grandparents, Gertrude and Edwin Thanhouser.
