What was the scariest part about thinking about study abroad? What were you worried about before you left?
The scariest part about studying abroad for me was that I would be living in three very different places and I would have to learn to adjust to them. I was worried about the adjustment and also about missing my friends and family at home.
What was the best part about studying abroad?
The best part about studying abroad was that we got to live in three different countries with three entirely different cultures and experience them to the fullest.
What would you say to someone who wasn’t sure about studying abroad?
I would absolutely encourage them to do it because it really is the only opportunity a person will ever have to pack up and move to a different country and experience that life with no strings attached. Never again will a person be able to do that without worrying about their job or family and be able to return to their normal life so easily.
If at all, how do you think studying abroad changed you?
Studying abroad made me learn a lot about myself and about how far I can push myself out of my comfort zone. Before studying abroad I would be intimidated by the smallest things, however, now I have learned to not only go out of my comfort zone but to enjoy doing it.
