On Sunday, October 27, 2019, CS Student Club Members Anthony Calise ‘20, Nick Bozentko ‘21 and Michael Pesce ‘20 participated in the 2019 International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) - New York Regional held at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Naming their team Iona-Senders, they solved 4 out of 11 problems and tied for 27th place out of 64 teams. Rankings were determined based on how many problems each team solved. This is a terrific accomplishment – especially when considering the fact that this was the Iona-Senders’ first time participating at a programming competition! We are very proud of these students. Congratulations to all!
