Student Granted Scholarship for 2015 ACSAC

Walter Squires '16, an Honors student working toward a BS in Computer Science with a concentration in Cyber Security, has been granted a Student Conferenceship award of $1,000 to attend the 2015 Annual Computer Security Applications Conference (ACSAC) in Los Angeles, Calif., December 9-11.

Walter was nominated by his Honors Thesis adviser, Paolina Centonze, Ph.D., and by two other faculty, Robert Schiaffino, Ph.D., and Hassan Takabi, Ph.D., from University of North Texas. 

Walter will also presents his Honors Thesis at the conference. ACASAC is considered to be a top security conference by any international ranking.
