Chelsea Marie Ramsingh '16, a computer science student, recently won a 2015 Upsilon Pi Epsilon Scholarship Award. She was selected on the basis of her academic record and extra-curricular activities from a large number of scholarship applications from students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE) is the international honor society for students, faculty and computing professionals who exhibit superior scholastic and professional achievement in the computing and information disciplines. UPE is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS) and has chapters at more than 270 colleges and universities in the U.S. and overseas. Chelsea was nominated for this scholarship by Dr. Smiljana Petrovic, moderator of Upsilon Pi Epsilon.
