Dr. Josh Klein returned in Fall 2010 to the Criminal Justice Department at Iona College, where he was a full-time faculty member 2005 through 2008. He has taught at Sacred Heart University, Borough of Manhattan Community College, Hunter College, Yeshiva University, and elsewhere. He has a B.A. in Social Science from Hampshire College, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Sociology from The City University of New York. He teaches both in the undergraduate and graduate programs.
Prior to his fulltime academic career, Dr. Klein conducted survey research, including positions at the Public Agenda Foundation, the City University of New York's Center for Jewish Studies, Publishers Clearing House, and Audits and Surveys Worldwide. Dr. Klein currently consults with community organizations. His research interests include attitudes and culture relating to criminal justice and violence, particularly state and corporate crime.
