ALL requests to meet Professor McMahon during his office hours at 82 President Street must be made through Administrative Assistant Patti Besen at (914) 633-2210 at least one week in advance. The Fall 2017 office hours are the following:

  • Mondays: 3 - 5:30 p.m.
  • Wednesdays: 10 a.m. - noon
  • Thursdays: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Prof. McMahon has more than 40 years of experience in the field of education. Having started his career in the classroom with students with special needs, he has served in all areas of school administration, in individual schools, and in related organizations. In these roles he has mentored countless student teachers, and maintained an active engagement in current and new teaching methods and strategies, having served in or as a member of a host of professional organizations, at the local and national level, as detailed below.
