The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde

The classic Victorian play by Oscar Wilde has two young gentlemen living in 1890's England that have taken to bending the truth in order to put some intrigue into their lives. Jack Worthing and Algernon Montcrieff decide to create different personas in order to pursue to eligible ladies, Cecily Cardew and Gwendolyn Fairfax. Things start to go awry when they end up together in the country and their deceptions are discovered, putting their romantic pursuits at risk.
