On-going Research Projects

Individuals interested in getting involved in research related to the mental health of adolescents and young adults should consider joining The Otherways Lab. The Otherways Lab is a multidisciplinary group of students and faculty dedicated to helping children and young adults find other ways of coping with life’s challenges. The lab is working on several projects, from identifying risk factors for suicidal behaviors, to understanding how self-injury is represented on-line, to developing tech-based interventions.

Lab faculty include Colleen Jacobson, Ph.D. (Psychology), Lubomir Ivanov, Ph.D. (Computer Science) and Chia-Ling Tsai, Ph.D. (Computer Science).
