Head of Business Development, Sports & Entertainment, Aramark
Gary Jacobus is head of business development for Aramark’s Sports and Entertainment division, responsible for securing new and retaining current food and beverage and retail merchandising business within professional and NCAA sports venues, convention centers, cultural attractions and amphitheaters. He began his sports career with the NFL, and during his seven-year tenure, the annual marketing partnership revenue grew from $10 million to over $120 million. Jacobus ran IMG’s worldwide corporate consulting practice where he grew the division by 270 percent and was responsible for consummating the most lucrative consulting assignment in IMG’s 40-year history. Jacobus was managing director at the USTA responsible for securing marketing partners for the U.S. Open. During his tenure, he secured over $10 million in new business. He was also vice president of global marketing partnership at the NBA where he led the team that secured the largest marketing partnership in NBA history with Sprint.
