Information Systems Certificate

The Information Systems Post-Master's Certificate will prepare Professionals of any function or discipline with the wherewithal to either move cross-functionally to Information Technology Function positions in their respective industry or profession or to enhance their performance in their current roles.

Five (5) courses, 15 credits are required. The PMC is only open to students who possess a graduate degree.

Five courses (15 credits) chosen from the following:

  • IS 620: Database Management
  • IS 621: Computer-Based Statistical Decision Making
  • IS 622: Risk Management Decision Technology
  • IS 623: Systems Security for Business Resiliency
  • IS 625: Audit and Control of Informatics
  • IS 626: Analytics of Strategic Corporate Planning
  • IS 650: Information and Decision Technology in Sports, Gaming and Entertainment
  • IS 655: Business Applications Development Using Visual Basic
  • IS 681: Security and Privacy on the Internet
  • IS 684: Internet Based Applications and Development
  • IS 685: Introduction to Data Mining
  • IS 991: Leadership and Management of the Information Technology Function
