Kevin Molloy started his career in the healthcare industry on the clinical side of the business, as a director of respiratory therapy for 15 years. Upon completion of his master’s degree in Healthcare Management, he spent the next 25 years in senior executive positions, ending his healthcare industry career as the Chief Operating Officer of Mount Sinai Beth Israel Healthcare System in New York City. He began his tenure as a full-time faculty member of Iona College three years ago. He has an extensive network of healthcare executives from his many years in the industry. While having a broad and extensive background in healthcare management, his special areas of interest and experience are healthcare IT, financial management, marketing, strategic planning and healthcare management.
Molloy is a fellow (FACHE) and active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and has served on their local board and as the national chairman of the editorial Bboard of Healthcare Executive, a publication of ACHE. He was chosen by Becker’s Hospital Review as “One of the Top 100 Healthcare System Executives to Know” while serving as the COO of Beth Israel Medical Center.
Molloy serves on the New York Board of Phoenix House and is the chairman of the Quality Committee.
