Registration for Visiting Students

Winter Session 2020

Visiting students may register and pay for Iona College’s Winter Session by using our visitor's registration and payment portal. Use the portal screens to select your course, enter your contact information and submit your payment. Registrants are limited to one (1) course for Winter Session.

In addition to choosing and paying for your course, all visiting students must submit the following items to

  • A head shot photo for identification purposes
  • Picture of a recent valid photo ID such a driver's license, school ID or passport
  • Copies of most recent academic transcripts

Visiting Student Parking Permits

Visiting students must complete the Iona College Vehicle Registration Form. Parking Permits may be obtained through the Office of Campus Safety and Security in room 207 in the Robert V. LaPenta Student Union.

Former Iona Students

Students who attended Iona College previously in a degree program but did not earn a degree may enroll in a Winter Session course. Re-admission will activate your existing record. Please contact the Admissions Office for re-admission instructions and the online application.

Auditing a Course

Students who wish to audit a course will be charged for one credit. Audits are allowed for lecture liberal arts courses that do not require laboratories. Permission to audit a course is required from the Dean’s Office.

Transferring Credit & Transcripts

Students who wish to transfer credit to their home institution should obtain prior approval from the appropriate person at that institution.

Admission to Matriculated Status

Visiting students who would like to be admitted to Iona College on a permanent basis should contact the Office of Admissions at (914) 633-2502. Students dismissed from Iona College are not permitted to take Winter Session courses. Successful completion of a course during January Winter Session does not guarantee admission to the College on a matriculated basis.
