Service+Learning

At a time when society’s capacity for justice, respect, and tolerance is unsteady, and the value of liberal arts education is being questioned, we stand steadfast in our belief that a life of service and a life of the mind can be partners. When Blessed Edmund Rice founded the Congregation of Christian Brothers he believed the same thing, and his legacy of service and the liberating power of education flourishes here today. In every act of service, there is opportunity to learn. This combination, experienced here through the lenses of diversity and a global perspective, creates critical thinkers, ethical decision makers, compassionate leaders, and engaged citizens ready to lead, thrive, and make a difference in a rapidly changing world.
