Congratulations on your admission to Iona College. Iona is here to support you through the entire enrollment process and in becoming a part of the Iona community.

Your next steps

1. Visit… and get to know us better!


2. Apply for Financial Aid

  • All students automatically receive scholarship consideration.
  • File your FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov as soon as possible to receive your financial aid package and to activate any scholarships you may have received. Make sure to include the Iona College code: 002737. In preparation for filing your FAFSA, work on all tax returns early and make sure both you and one of your parents obtain a Federal Student Identification Login (FSAID) from the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Costs: Please refer to 2017-2018 Tuition & Fees
  • Your Personal Financial Aid Counselor is assigned by last name and can be contacted at Student Financial Services.
  • Be sure to accept your financial aid awards online by following the instructions at www.iona.edu/acceptmyawards.

3. Submit Your Enrollment Deposit

  • Pay your deposit via credit card or send a check made payable to Iona College.
    • $650 for residential students. More information on the housing process will be sent to you once we receive your deposit.
    • $400 for commuting students.

4. Sign Up for Orientation

Get your first taste of Iona as an official Gael! Any student who has paid a deposit can sign-up for orientation. Enter your Student ID (which is found on your admission letter) and follow the steps to submit all paperwork.

5. Confirm Your Housing and Dining Plans

If you are planning to live on campus, you’ll be part of a residential community of over 1,400 students. 
 
A meal plan is required for all residential students and is included in the Room and Board. Learn more about meal plans

6. Provide Mandatory Health Records  

A student health form and immunization records must be submitted at orientation or prior to the start of classes or move in day.
 

7. Provide Official Academic Credentials by August 1, 2018

  • Provide final, official high school transcript(s) and AP/IB test scores (if applicable).
  • Provide final, official college transcript(s) from any course you took while in high school.
  • All transcripts must be sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, Iona College, 715 North Avenue, New Rochelle, NY 10801.

8. Make the Most of Your Summer

  • Freshmen Survey: Complete the Freshman Survey that is part of the online orientation registration to tell us more about your course, housing and communication preferences.
  • Visit the Bookstore: Stock up on your Gael gear and check out your textbooks on the bookstore website.
