Sinead Harrington, OTD

Ms. Sinead Harrington has worked as an occupational therapist for the past 12 years, primarily in adult rehabilitation, including acute and sub-acute care. Her area of focus within occupational therapy is geriatrics. In addition to clinical experience, she has been an adjunct faculty member in occupational therapy for the past five years. Ms. Harrington serves as an ACOTE accreditation reviewer which provides her with the opportunity to evaluate and visit occupational therapy and occupational therapy assistant schools within the United States. Ms. Harrington decided to become an occupational therapist as it provides a holistic approach to healthcare and addresses the whole person. She enjoys teaching as it affords her the opportunity to mentor students into becoming confident and innovative healthcare providers.
