Tripta Velamoor MA, OTR/L, ATP is Fieldwork Coordinator and Clinical Lecturer. She has over 15 years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist in a number of practice settings including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home care, and schools. Before joining the OT faculty at Iona College, Ms. Velamoor was the board-appointed occupational therapy coordinator for Mamaroneck UFSD. In this leadership role, she collaborated with administration to oversee the provision of OT services throughout the school district. She is also certified through RESNA as an Assistive Technology Practitioner and was an assistive technology evaluator for the New York City Department of Education. Ms. Velamoor has a strong interest in service learning and community-based projects, and looks forward to carrying out the mission of Iona College in her role as Fieldwork Coordinator for the graduate program in occupational therapy.
