  • Transfer applications are processed on a rolling basis, although it is strongly recommended that students apply as soon as possible in order to receive a timely admissions decision, credit evaluation and financial-aid package.
  • Courses that are equivalent to courses offered at Iona with a grade of “C” or better are considered transferrable. A maximum of 64 credits may be accepted upon transfer from all combined accredited two-year institutions and training programs. A maximum of 90 credits in total may be accepted from all combined accredited two- and four-year institutions and training programs.
  • All transferring students with an earned associate of arts or associate of science degree from an accredited institution who have also earned a cumulative GPA of 2.5 will have satisfied Iona’s liberal arts core.
  • Iona College reserves housing spaces each semester for prospective transfer students. Housing is assigned to new students based on availability.
