Gardiner Archival Fellowship Program
Overview: Thanks to the generous support of the Gardiner Foundation, the ITPS and the Ryan Library recently launched a joint initiative: The Gardiner Archival Fellowship program. Currently in its pilot year, the program focuses on the inventory, cataloguing, and ultimate digital and museum curation of the TPNHA collection.
Current fellows: Michael Crowder, dissertation fellow, is conducting integral research for the four-step curatorial program of the TPNHA collection by building an essential inventory of the archive that will lead directly to a detailed finding aid. An important aspect of this research also involves the TPNHA oral history project, which is done in conjunction with coordinator Gary Berton. They also actively contribute to the ITPS social media, particularly on the series #FellowFinds, and are involved in the planning of the October 2018 conference. For more information on their work, see the about section.
