In order to be able to register, you will need to make sure there are no holds on your account. Fortunately, checking these holds is quick and easy. Let’s take a look at how. To begin, you will need to access PeopleSoft through the MyIona Single Sign On (SSO). On the new PeopleSoft tab, you will now be navigating to the Student Center portion. It is important to note that Peoplesoft is personalized to you, please remember that what you see may be slightly different than what is shown here. On the PeopleSoft page, click on Self Service. On the self service area, look for and click on Student Center. The Student Center is a starting place to handle most tasks related to registration. Look on the right side of the Student Center. You will see quick information separated into different areas. The top box is called ‘Holds’. If you have any holds they will be listed here. Click on the link that says ‘details’ to view all your holds. From this page you can select an individual hold to learn more information about it. In this case I will click on ‘Advisement Hold’. From this page you can find instructions on how to get the hold lifted. You are now able to quickly view any holds on your account. This will be important to do in order to make sure you are ready to register. To review: Log into PeopleSoft through the MyIona Single Sign On (SSO).
