Organization of Latinx Students (OLAS)

The Organization of Latinx American Students (OLAS) works to foster appreciation for the richness and beauty of the Latinx culture. They aim to promote awareness of the invaluable contributions of the cultures in Spain, Mexico, Central and South America, and the Caribbean.

OLAS hosts a number of campus events each year, including Salsa/Bachata dance classes, poetry slams and comedy events. The members are also actively involved in community service, including efforts with a local Boys & Girls Club, and fundraising efforts for Puerto Rico.

The club also works to improve opportunities and services for Latinx students throughout campus.

OLAS encourages diverse membership from all ethnic backgrounds!
