Meet Your Commuter Assistants 2019-2020
Iona has a really important resource for first-year commuters known as Commuter Assistants (CAs). Freshman commuters are paired with a returning commuter student who helps them transition into college by addressing their needs or concerns about college life, answering questions, and supporting them throughout their first-year!
Commuter Assistants help connect students to Iona’s resources and respond to questions and concerns. They host programs and events at convenient times to help commuters get involved. They have “community hours” when they are available to meet. CAs attend campus events and really want to help commuters feel connected and find their place at Iona.
