Summer Housing

Iona College provides the opportunity to make our campus a home for our students year-round. Summer Housing is available to students that will be enrolled in summer coursework, are employed throughout the summer on-campus, or participating in internships organized through the College. In order to apply for Summer Housing, interested students must first have a $250 housing deposit on-file through Student Financial Services. Students that have lived on-campus during the 2017-2018 academic year, or that have already applied for housing during the 2018-2019 academic year, will already have a deposit on file. All payments can be made via credit card. or by contacting Student Financial Services at (914) 633-2497.

Once the deposit has been made, students can then navigate to the application for Summer 2018 Housing through the StarRez Housing Portal outlined in the intructions below.

Please note that the cost of Summer housing is $56 per night. Also, students residing on-campus during Summer Session I will remain in their 2017-2018 housing assignments for the duration of the session. All students residing on-campus for Summer Session II and III, will be assigned to Loftus Hall.

Summer Session Dates

Summer Session I: May 21 – June 1, 2018 (Current residential students will remain in their Spring 2018 residence)
Summer Session II: June 4 – July 6, 2018 (Check-in day: June 3; Check-out day: July 7)
Summer Session III: July 9 – August 9, 2018 (Check-in day: July 8; Check-out day: August 9)

Instructions for the Summer 2018 Housing Application

  1. Type myiona.iona.edu into your webbrowser, or, go to the Iona College website (www.iona.edu), click on “Quick Links” at the top of the page, then click “Online Services”
  2. Login with your Iona College Username and Password
  3. Click on the link to your PeopleSoft account
  4. Click on “Self Service”, under “Menu” on the PeopleSoft Homepage
  5. Click on the folder labeled “Residential Life”
  6. Click on “StarRez Portal” You will automatically be brought to the Housing Application Welcome page
  7. To begin the Housing Application, click “Housing Application” at the top of the Housing Application Welcome page. The Term Selector page will appear. You will need to select the academic year that you are applying to live on campus for, then save and continue.
  8. After clicking on “Housing Application”, the Term Selector page will appear. Select the academic year that you are applying to live on campus for, then save and continue.
  9. When you log in after you complete the housing application your information will appear below the appropriate academic year.
