FERPA – Student Permission to Release Information (Electronic Forms)

This form allows you (the student) to list people that we (Student Financial Services) are authorized to discuss your student account and financial aid with.

To access and complete this form, please log into your myiona.iona.edu account. For assistance with logging into your myiona.iona.edu account please contact the Help Desk at (914) 633-2635. Once logged in, select PeopleSoft and follow this path:

Self Service > Electronic Forms > FERPA – Information Release
  • List the names of persons you authorize (parents)
  • Answer the security question
  • Complete the required fields and click Next
  • Type your name as shown and click Sign Electronically
The primary purpose of this form is to facilitate the Student Financial Services processing related to financial aid, student accounts, and registration. However, students often request the College to discuss other matters with third parties. See more information on FERPA.
