  • About Blackboard Collaborate

Blackboard Collaborate is an online collaboration platform that enables instructors to engage students and interact with them successfully in a live virtual setting within Blackboard.

In addition to conducting live virtual classrooms, instructors can use this tool in a variety of ways, including for prerecording lectures and course content, meeting with students in virtual office hours, and enabling students to become moderators in their own sessions/rooms so they can record themselves presenting class projects or collaborate with their fellow classmates for a group assignment.
