Editing an Event
Inevitably, you will need to edit an event in 25Live. Keep in mind that only the person who entered the event (the event 'owner') will be able to make edits. This is important to note if you are working with several people who may be entering events into the system.
Editing an event's date/time/resource(s) will result in workflow starting from scratch. This basically means the following:
When editing the date/time of an event, you will basically be releasing the space(s) AND resource(s), if applicable, that you had previously requested and creating a new request upon which the data mangers will need to approve.
When editing resources in any way -- say changing your previous request of five chairs to one hundred -- you will be releasing your previous resource request and creating a new request upon which data mangers will need to approve.
Find the event you wish to edit in 25live and use the Edit icon (
) to open up the event details page.
Or if you are on the details tab for your event already, select “Edit this Event
” from the menu on the right side of the page.
The Event Wizard
form will load. As you scroll down the page, you will notice this form looks mostly the same as the event creation form you have already used. Update the necessary fields and be sure to SAVE your changes.
