Gael Express Shuttle
The Gael Express is a free Iona University shuttle service that provides transportation for Iona students and employees between campus and the New Rochelle Transportation Center (Metro North train station). The shuttle also transports students to the local Stop & Shop on select days.
All you need to ride the shuttle is your Iona University ID!

- Iona University: In front of Hynes Athletics Center West
- New Rochelle Transportation Center: Inner roadway by the main entrance of the station on the southbound side.

Bronxville
Shuttles between New Rochelle and Bronxville run Monday–Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
There are two dedicated shuttles, one at the Bronxville campus and one at the New Rochelle campus. Once passengers board, the shuttle will transport to the destination campus, drop off and return to the originating campus. If you missed the shuttle, it will be back in approximately 15 minutes.

- Bronxville: Circular driveway in front of the security office

Gael Express Basics
- Two 12-passenger vans (11 available seats for riders each trip) driven by N.Y. State Certified campus safety officers.
- The shuttle will only pick up and drop off passengers at the designated shuttle stop locations.
- All students (residents, commuters, graduate students are eligible to ride the shuttle). Guests are not permitted to use the shuttle.
- Seats are on a first-come, first-served basis for students. Seats are not guaranteed and cannot be reserved.
- Employees are able to ride the shuttle if there are available seats. Spaces are for students first regardless of first-come, first-served basis.
- If classes are cancelled, the Gael Express will still be in operation, weather and safety permitting. There may be times where the shuttle will run on a reduced or altered schedule.
- The Campus Safety Officer has the right to refuse access or remove a passenger from the van.
