Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Analytics

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Analytics (OIEA) leads the University’s efforts to leverage data and evidence-based insights to guide planning, decision-making, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities of and services provided by the office include:

Institutional Effectiveness/Research

  • Compliance reporting to the federal and state governments, regional and specialty accreditors, and associations
  • Responding to external surveys from publications
  • Serving as a clearinghouse for institutional data
  • Accreditation support
  • Supporting academic program review
  • Institutional assessment and program evaluation
  • Market analyses and benchmarking studies
  • Survey design and analysis

Analytics

  • Retrieving, cleaning and synthesizing data
  • Statistical analyses
  • Predictive analytics
  • Modeling and forecasting
  • Identifying and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)

Data Governance

  • Establishing data quality standards and overseeing data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems
  • Leading efforts to improve data literacy
