Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Analytics
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Analytics (OIEA) leads the University’s efforts to leverage data and evidence-based insights to guide planning, decision-making, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities of and services provided by the office include:
Institutional Effectiveness/Research
- Compliance reporting to the federal and state governments, regional and specialty accreditors, and associations
- Responding to external surveys from publications
- Serving as a clearinghouse for institutional data
- Accreditation support
- Supporting academic program review
- Institutional assessment and program evaluation
- Market analyses and benchmarking studies
- Survey design and analysis
Analytics
- Retrieving, cleaning and synthesizing data
- Statistical analyses
- Predictive analytics
- Modeling and forecasting
- Identifying and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)
Data Governance
- Establishing data quality standards and overseeing data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems
- Leading efforts to improve data literacy
