Psi Kappa Theta Sorority
Sisterhood, Contribution, and Celebration
Psi Kappa Theta, better known as IKO on campus is a very active group of girls who like to have fun! Besides participating in campus events such as Homecoming and Greek Week, we also have sponsored many events including a Free Car Wash, as well as volunteering at Soup Kitchens. We also participate in walks such as the Huntington's Disease Walk and The Breast Cancer Walk. As of the 2012-2013 Greek Awards, Psi Kappa Theta achieved the Most Improved Organization award for the second time. In addition, Psi Kappa Theta also received the highest GPA for a sorority at Iona for the second time.
We work to uphold the ideals on which we were founded: "Sisterhood, Celebration, and Contribution." These ideals are strengthened by our communal effort to implement the Seven Pillars of Greek Life as helpful guidelines to our success.
Psi Kappa Theta is one of the oldest Sororities on Iona's campus. We currently have 17 active members. The bonds formed within our organization are rare and everlasting. Without the privilege of being part of fraternity or sorority life, our college experience would not be the same.
Psi Kappa Theta was formed on October 1, 1980. It was founded by a group of women that wanted to participate in campus events and form great friendships.
