Zeta Kappa Chi Fraternity
Zeta Kappa Chi was founded in 1984 and is the oldest fraternity on campus. We stand for Service, Friendship and Unity
Mission & Values:
Keeping true to the values of service
, & unity
, the brothers of Zeta Kappa Chi are dedicated to serving both the Iona and the greater New Rochelle community. We aim to promote Greek Life and to establish good relations with rest of the Iona community as well as to work well with the greater New Rochelle community, making it a better place for Iona to flourish. We also aim to strengthen the sacred bond of brotherhood, creating friendships that last a lifetime and establishing relations with alumni, and to produce strong and confident leaders.
We have worked continuously with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, raising money and making charitable contributions. We aim to continue this through raising money at various events such as Seaside Therapeutic Riding and hosting a Haunted House with fellow alumni in New Rochelle.
ZKX has hosted various events in the past that stay true with our principles of Service
, and Unity
. The Halloween Haunted House, Seaside Therapeutic Riding, Light it Up Blue, AJ’s Burgers Man v. Food competition (co-sponsored with PRSSA) and ZKX’s annual Curbside Litter Pickup are a few events to mention.
Events in the near future that we are looking forward to have are Support The Troops for Veterans Day (co-sponsoring with SUV) and our 1st
annual Zeta Kappa Carwash!
