SHUTTLE SERVICE

The shuttle for Bronxville picks up and drops off passengers in front of Hynes Athletics Center West on the New Rochelle campus. There are signs on the shuttle windows indicating each shuttle's destination.

Shuttles between New Rochelle and Bronxville run Monday–Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

There are two dedicated shuttles, one at the Bronxville campus and one at the New Rochelle campus. Once passengers board, the shuttle will transport to the destination campus, drop off and return to the originating campus. If you missed the shuttle, it will be back in approximately 15 minutes.

  • Bronxville: Circular driveway in front of the security office

A shuttle between campuses will take at least 15 minutes. Always plan to catch the shuttle one half-hour earlier than you need to arrive on either campus. For instance, if your class starts at 8 a.m. in Bronxville, you should take the 7:30 a.m. shuttle from New Rochelle.

PARKING

Students, faculty and staff can park in the designated parking spots along Concordia Place, as well as in the parking lots behind the Sommer Center and Brunn-Maier Science Building, both of which are easily accessed by following Concordia Place around to the rear of campus. Handicapped parking is available along Concordia Place, nearest Bohm Hall and a short distance to both Brunn-Maier and the Kelly Center for Health Sciences. Students may also park in the Meyer Athletic Center lot across White Plains Road. There is absolutely no parking along the oval in front of campus.

If you have a parking permit for New Rochelle, it is valid in Bronxville. You do not have to get a new one. If you do not yet have a parking permit but will need one, please fill out the Vehicle Registration Form below. All vehicles parked on Iona campuses must display a valid Iona University parking permit and park in a legal space.

Classes

Classes begin on the Bronxville campus starting on the first day of the spring semester, which is January 17, 2023. Pay attention to your room assignments to ensure you are aware of which classes are meeting in Bronxville.

Non-major-specific classes, such as those required for the undergraduate core curriculum, are still held on the New Rochelle campus. Pay attention to the room assignments listed in your course registration with the Registrar to be sure.

Prior to the start of the semester, the Registrar lists the location of each class, including the campus, building and room number. Check your class schedule to be certain. Also note that non-major-specific classes for undergraduate students are held on the New Rochelle campus.

Classes are held in the Kelly Center for Health Sciences, the Brunn-Maier Science Building and Feth Hall. Prior to the start of the semester, the Registrar lists the location of each class, including the campus, building and room number. Check your class schedule to be certain. Also note that non-major-specific classes for undergraduate students are held on the New Rochelle campus.

All classrooms will be numbered and there will be temporary directional signage to help assist. The Kelly Center for Health Sciences will also have a touchscreen monitor at the main entrance.

Getting Around Campus

You can always stop into Campus Security, which is located at the main entryway of campus around the oval driveway in Sieker Hall. It is easily identifiable by the blue lights that remain on 24/7 outside the doorway.

There is temporary signage around campus to help direct where you need to go.

Accessing Wi-Fi & IT Services

The Wi-Fi in Bronxville is the same as in New Rochelle. You can access the “IonaWifi” network by using your Iona network user ID and password. If you are already logged in to “IonaWifi” from the New Rochelle campus, it will show up automatically under your Wi-Fi settings while in Bronxville. On-Campus Offices and Buildings

Campus Safety is located in Sieker Hall, directly at the entryway to campus along the oval driveway. Campus Safety is available 24/7 both on the Bronxville campus in Sieker Hall and by calling (914) 654-6100.

The administrative offices of the Dean, Associate Dean and Occupational Therapy are located in Feth Hall. All other faculty offices are located in Sieker Hall.

The Kelly Center for Health Sciences is open until 10 p.m. Other buildings will be locked at 8 p.m.
