History
In 1980, Iona received a gift from the Estate of Cora Lamere Archibald to honor her husband, Grant Archibald. Cora Lamere was born on November 18, 1881, in Ludlow, Vermont. She married Grant Archibald on August 16, 1911 in Vermont. The couple moved to New Rochelle and was here when Iona was founded. While Grant passed earlier, Cora lived on until May 1979 when she passed at the age 97.
