A complimentary breakfast is available. You will have the chance to visit tables around the room and meet representatives from various departments on-campus. Visit all tables to receive your chance at prizes!

Parent and Family Welcome and OL Introductions

Welcome to Gael Nation
Location: Upper Gym, Hynes Athletics Center
An opportunity to formally welcome the Class of 2029 and all incoming new students! While this is a joint session for students and families, students will be sitting with their Orientation groups.

Parent & families will travel to the Murphy Auditorium (shuttles will be available)
Breaks will be available throughout the morning.

Getting Started: Letting College Happen (Counseling Center)
Your student’s Iona University journey begins today! This session takes you through this important adjustment period step by step, and offers valuable tips on how to support your student’s growth.

Today you will meet the staff of the Center for Advising and Academic Services, the Samuel Rudin Academic Resource Center, Trio, and the Accessibility Services Office. Each office provides services that every student may need or use in their first year at Iona.
