Requisition Approval Process

We are delighted to announce the implementation of the paperless requisition and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) called SilkRoad/OpenHire.  With this new system, hiring departments will now be required to initiate requisitions using one of four templates (faculty, adjunct, administrative and staff positions) available in the ATS.  With this requisition module, the initiator can select approvers and track the progress through final approval by following the steps below:
  • New – Faculty – Full-Time

    1. Dean initiates the requisition
    2. Louella Steverson, Manager for HR Data & Systems – Human Resources – Assigns Salary Range
    3. Fatima Ferreira, Budget Director – Budget Office – Reviews & Approves
    4. Dr. Vincent Calluzzo, SVP Provost – Office of the Provost – Reviews & Approves
    5. Anne Marie Schettini-Lynch, SVP Finance & Administration – Office of Finance & Administration – Reviews & Approves
    6. MaryEllen Callaghan, Chief of Staff – Office of the President – Reviews & Approves
    7. Tracey Wilmot, Director of Human Resources – Human Resources – Provides Final Approval
    8. Position can be posted
  • Replacement – Faculty – Full-Time

    1. Dean initiates the requisition
