Resources you may want to share with your students:
Handshake is our online career management platform where students can:
- Make an appointment with a Career Coach;
- Search and apply for internships, part-time and full-time opportunities
- Register for on-campus recruiting events;
- View and sign-up for workshops; and
- Access our online career guides.
All students have access to Handshake by using their Iona log-in credentials.
Individual appointments with a Career Coach can be made at any time through Handshake. Students can utilize appointments for range of career-related topics that include career planning and decision making, resume and cover letter writing, job/internship search, interview preparation, networking, graduate school applications or career exploration.
Drop-in Hours are also available for quick questions without an appointment.
Presentations and workshops are available on a wide variety of career subjects throughout the academic year. All our events are posted in Handshake and upcoming events can also be found on the Career Development website.
