Kairos Weekend Retreat
Iona College Office of Mission and Ministry sponsors the Kairos weekend retreat, held at Blair Lodge, the Archdiocese of New York youth retreat center in Putnam County. This student-led retreat, designed for 35 participants, engages students in reflection on and affirmation of their relationships with God, with others, and with themselves. Presentations help to promote personal insight, build a supportive community, and inspire active involvement and service. Students often return with a renewed awareness of their own giftedness and an enthusiasm for the spiritual life. Monthly follow-up meetings, called "Fourth Day" sessions, foster on-going faith development and discovery.
In 2018-19, Kairos Retreat – (Off-campus weekend retreat), will be sponsored November 16-18 2018, and April 5-7, 2019.

Retreat for Busy People
The Retreat for Busy People (RBP) takes place on campus and it's for exactly who it sounds like —busy people like you and me!
RBP occurs over the course of five days on campus. What makes RBP unique is that the retreat schedule depends on the retreatant's schedule. Each retreatant commits 30 minutes of personal prayer/reflection and 30 minutes meeting with a spiritual guide each day. It's a great way to learn to reflect/pray within your busy lives.
A spiritual guide is someone who listens to your faith story and someone who guides you through reflection and prayer. They are individuals selected because they share in common a desire to enter into the retreat with you.
What do you need to know about the RBP? You need to know:
In 2016-17, the Retreat for Busy People will take place February 12-17, 2017.
RBP is completely FREE!
RBP is open to all students!
All the retreatants and spiritual guides will meet together after the 6 p.m. Sunday Mass prior to the start of the retreat for an opening session and to coordinate schedules.
Monday - Thursday you'll meet with your guide for 30 minutes each day and commit to 30 minutes of prayer on your own. Your meeting times will be based on your schedule!
If you're available, we will gather together on Friday at the end of the retreat for a closing prayer and lunch.
