| 7:30-8:45 a.m. | Breakfast on Your Own Student ambassadors will be in the LaPenta Student Union Dining Hall to help provide tutorials on the amazing stations and options! There will also be a designated seating area for Commuter students who wish to eat together. |
| 9-10 a.m. | Meet Your OL (Orientation Leader) Part 1 Assigned Classroom Individual group assignments and check-in locations will be received via Iona email by 12noon on 8/21/26. If there are questions visit Move-in central, Welcome Weekend Headquarters or call. All students will check-in and must have a completed Welcome Weekend waiver. After attendance there will be a presentation and overview of the day, and time to get to know your OL and group. |
| 10-11:30 a.m. | Welcome Weekend Kick-Off and Academic Resources for Success, OLs will bring groups to this important kick-off event. Hear from University students and administrators. Learn about the offices working together to provide students guidance and support along the journey to academic success. Today you will meet the staff of the Center for Advising and Academic Services, the Samuel Rudin Academic Resource Center, Trio, and the Accessibility Services Office. Each office provides services that every student may need or use in their first year at Iona. |
| 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. | Playfair, Hynes Athletics Center |
| 1-2:15 p.m. | Lunch and Classroom tours Lunch will be provided. Follow your specific OL group Schedule. |
| 2:15-3 p.m. | Meet Your OL Part 2 classroom Assigned Classroom |
| 3-4:30 p.m. | Maximize Your Buzz & Zero Shades of Gray: Hynes Athletics Center "What Every College Student Needs to Know About Alcohol Education and Sexual Assault Prevention." by Collegiate Empowerment Productions and Iona University Title IX Resources |
| 4:30 p.m. | Get Involved in Student Life! Charting Your College Experience with Student Affairs and Iona’s Student Leaders Hynes Athletics Center |
| 5:45-9 p.m. | Dinner and Welcome Weekend Street Fair LaPenta Student Union, Murphy Green, Main Roadway, Spellman Hall |

| 11-12:30 p.m. | Welcome to Gael Nation Induction and Spirit Event Welcome from University leadership, annual student oath and induction |
| 12:30 p.m. (or immediately following the conclusion of previous session) | Commuter Life New Student Orientation in Mulcahy Gym followed by Commuter Assistant (CA) Cohort Meetings CA will take you to assigned meeting location |
| 2:30-5:30 p.m. | Annual Welcome Luau and Block Party! Free BBQ, activities, and fun for Iona students. |
| 6 p.m. | First Sunday Weekly Mass (All are welcome.) Meet Campus Ministers at 5:45 pm in the Loftus Courtyard to walk up to mass. Shuttle transportation is also available by request. |
| 7 p.m. | Hospitality Reception following Mass Holy Family Church Lawn or Ground Floor |
| 8-10 p.m. | Sunday Evening Activity Great prizes and fun! |
