How do I order a Laptop?
Iona College is pleased to offer students and members of the Iona College community discounted pricing for laptop computers. The IT Department strongly recommends that students purchase laptops for use on campus.

Laptop Configurations
Iona College supports both PC and Mac operating systems. Business School students are strongly encouraged to purchase a PC.
Recommended Windows laptop configuration:
- Intel® Core™ i5
- Windows 10
- 8 GB of Memory or more
- At least 500 GB hard drive (solid state drive preferred)
- 802.11 n/ac wireless LAN
- 3-year warranty with 3-year total coverage (accidental damage protection)
- Carrying case

Iona College has chosen Microsoft Office ProPlus as its application suite. Office 365 ProPlus comes with a full version of Office applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote and more. This software will be used in classrooms and is strongly recommended for optimal results and communication.
Once a student receives their computer account information, they can install Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus free of charge through the Office 365 Interface on five PCs or Macs, five tablets (iPad) and five mobile devices.
Students accessing Iona’s wireless network must have Microsoft Security Essentials or Windows Defender activated.
